Visit the famous Rainbow Market & indulge in authentic Arab delicacy
Touchdown the capital city of Jordan, Amman over a 10 hour flight from Delhi. As you land we will whisk you away to your Hotel, after you’ve refreshed yourself step out for a walking tour to the popular Rainbow street line with cafes and restaurants further on descending down colorful steps into the heart of the old city. On your way you will pass the Royal Society for the conservation of Nature, Wild Jordan. Our Travel Engineers recommend indulging in some traditional falafel, hummus and the famous Arab delicacy, Kenafah usually eaten at times of celebrations. Continue through the streets and markets , visiting the Husseini mosque and the amphitheater. Later in the evening try out some traditional Jordanian food and relax.
Day exploring Jordan’s famous three Desert Castles built by Ummayad Rulersbr/> Today after a hearty feast at breakfast you will set out to discover three Jordan’s famous desert castles towards the east of Amman over a one hour drive from Jordan. Admire and learn about the fabled castles built by Ummayad rulers during the 7th and 8th century. Furtheron you will explore UNESCO-listed Qusayr Amra, famous for its 8th-century frescoes of hedonistic scenes, before continuing to the atmospheric Qasr Kharana and Qasr al-Azraq castles, the latter used as a military base by TE Lawrence, known as ‘Lawrence of Arabia,’ during World War I. Later in the evening spend time exploring city.
Explore the old town, arts and culture district Jebel Webdeh or take an optional tour to preserved Roman city of Middle East- Jerash
By now you are well acquainted with Jordan , spend your day exploring the city and old town. Our Travel Engineers recommend you drive down to Jebel Webdeh, the famous arts and culture district where you can indulge in art galleries, local antiques and handicrafts shops. On your last day in Amman you could even take an optional tour 1 hour towards north to Jerash one of the most preserved Greco – Roman Cities of Middle East. You can explore fortified walls, temples, baths,colonnaded streets, theatres, shops and sophisticated water work. This city remains evidence of urban habitation of over 900 years!
Petra (Wadi Musa)

Drive to Wadi Musa (Town around Petra) with visit to Biblical city Madaba enroute
Today you will embark your journey to the “Rose Red City’, Petra from Amman. Petra is just about 3 hours from Amman, our Travel Engineers recommend a visit to the Biblical city of Madaba towards the south of Amman 45 mins into your drive to Petra. You will get to see spell binding mosaic pavements preserved in its original places at the Greek Orthodox Church, 6th century mosaic map of Palestine and a Byzantine masterpiece in this Moabite frontier town which continued to be inhabited in the Nabatean and Roman period. Later in the afternoon you continue to Wadi Musa (town around Petra) via scenic King’s Highway just 2 hours from Madaba. Upon arrival at Wadi Musa settle at your hotel on the hillside with stunning views and relax.
Day visit to Petra followed by an evening at Cave Bars or Arabic Style Bars in Wadi Musa
After a good night’s rest today you will spend the day discovering UNESCO Heritage site, known to be the new seven wonders of the world, PETRA. Travel Engineers recommend pre booking your entry to definitely take a guide as Petra has rich history and stories. You start your Petra journey by entering through Siq opening to the breathtaking glimse of towering treasury (most photographed spot of the Petra valley). You further continue to the Roman like theatre from early 1st century AD and countless temples, altars and colonnaded streets with its interesting Nabataeans stories then returning back to the entry. After a tiring day there is no better way to relax than sipping on your drink at an Arabic style bar or cave bars back in Wadi Musa.
Spend a day relaxing on sandy beaches of Aqaba
On your last day head out the sandy beaches and transparent waters to unwind and relax in the beautiful port city of Aqaba on the Red Sea’s gulf about 3 hour 45 mins from Wadi Musa. You will get to enjoy the Museum, which houses a collection of artefacts collected in the region, including pottery and coins and the oldest church in the world, the Aquarium and several diving centres across the shoreline. The beaches are known for watersports and windsurfing. After a well spent day you will return back to Wadi Musa later in the evening.
Optional tour Wadi Rum
You could also opt for a tour to Wadi Rum similar distance as Aqaba from Wadi Musa and 50 mins from Aqaba where Lawrence once lived and fought against the Turks. You will drive through the landscapes of the Wadi in a Old Bedouin Jeep and admire the stunning desert capes on your way!
Magnificent Petra at night
Our Travel Engineers recommend completing your Petra experience by experiencing the Petra Night show which happens on Mondays, Wednesday and Thursday for 2 hours starting 20:30 hrs. It’s a magical experience where you get to see the rock city candle lit with over 1500 candles for spectacular view of the Treasury. So plan your trip to Petra accordingly to ensure you don’t miss this experience.
Dead Sea

Drive to Dead Sea, float on mineral rich Dead Sea followed by Sunset BBQ and belly dancing Today you will drive down to the lowest point of land on Earth at over 400 meters below sea level to the shores of the famous mineral rich Dead Sea over a 1 hour drive from Petra. As you arrive the shores of Dead sea, check in to your hotel. You can head out for a quick float at the salt and mineral rich dead sea, return back to your hotel and enjoy the stunning sunset with some middle eastern BBQ and some belly dancing.
Incredible dead sea, full day Spa followed by authentic Arabic delicacy
The following day we have a complete rejuvenating day for you! After indulging in a hearty meal , head out for a float and swim in the dead sea. Carry your book or magazine to read while you float! Dead sea has no aquatic life due to high levels of salts and minerals which give its waters renowned curative powers and therapeutic qualities. Followed by a swim apply the black mud pack which can late be scrubbed off with salt and essential oils. After full day spa treatment spend your evening relaxing and indulging in some Arabic food.
That brings us to an end of your Jordanian escapade. After Check out you head straight to Queen Alia International airport in Amman over a 1 hour drive to take your flight back to Delhi.
