DAY 01: Rio de Janeiro

Arrival in Rio de Janeiro. Reception at the Airport. Transfer to your Hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 02: Rio de Janeiro

Breakfast. Morning at leisure. Afternoon tour to Corcovado and Tijuca Forest. After picking you up from your hotel, we'll pass the Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas (except on Sundays) on our way to reach the Cosme Velho Train cog station, which sits at the bottom of Corcovado Mountain. Here, we will take the ride up to the top, through the dense Tijuca rain forest to the 38m tall (125ft) Christ Redeemer Statue. With a panoramic view from the top, the guide will show you the spectacular sights of Rio and the surrounding countryside for approximately 40-60 minutes. After riding the train back down, passengers are returned to their hotels.

DAY 03: Rio de Janeiro

Breakfast. Today get ready for a full day of relaxation. Pick up from your hotel at evening : “Rio nights are electric. Feel the energy in the air… your heart beats faster…music and fun are key ingredients of Rio’s exciting nightlife!” This atmosphere is brought to life at Plataforma’s nightly Carnaval Parade! Indulge in a traditional Brazillian Barbecue dinner featuring marinated grilled meats and local delicacies. Following dinner, enjoy prime seating for the Plataforma 1 Samba Show... an experience of live music, brilliant costumes, rhythmic drumming and unbelievable dancing!

DAY 04: Rio de Janeiro – Iguazu Falls

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Iguazu Falls. Reception at the Airport. Transfer to your Hotel or continue directly to the Brazillian side of the Falls, located 24 kilometers from downtown Foz do Iguaçu. Arrival to the Visitors Center, at the entrance of the Iguassu National Park, about 10 kilometers from the city center.
After passing through the Center, the visits continue, now inside the National Park, along a paved road that will take us to the magnificent Iguassu Falls. There, happens the walking tour along the catwalk measuring one kilometer of easy hike. Along this easy trek, there are several gorgeous panoramic views of the Falls and other main falls.

DAY 05: Iguazu Falls

After Breakfast, early in the Morning, get your cameras ready because a memorable experience awaits you as you explore this natural wonder of the world. The 200,000 year old falls span across the border of Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay and are known to pour over 400,000 gallons of water a second onto the rocks below! We will travel outside the city of Iguassu to the national park where we will spend the day exploring the falls and learning about the history and culture. We will explore the three tiers of the park to see the falls from different vantages. The lower path leads to the base of the falls where the intense crash of the falls releases a thick mist into the air. The upper path leads to incredible panoramic views of the falls from an extensive footbridge, also an unforgettable experience. You will be guided throughout the tour but will have lots of free time to take pictures, enjoy the nature and see the falls at your own pace. At the end of the tour we will all meet back up for transportation back to the hotel.

DAY 06: Iguazu Falls – Manaos

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Manaos. Arrival and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 07: Amazon Jungle

Early in the morning departure from your hotel in Manaus. The trip The trip takes three hours via speed boat, van and speed boat again. During your trip you might encounter some pink dolphins on the way and you will stop to see the amazing Meeting of the Waters, the spot where the muddy waters of the Solimões River and the black waters of the Negro River run side by side, without mixing, to form the great Amazonas River. Enjoy your first contact with the jungle and observe the giant water lily. At Juma Amazon Lodge, a welcome drink prepared with exotics fruits awaits you. During lunch, an amazonian cuisine is then served. The afternoon activity is a reconnaissance tour through the igarapés (Amazonian creeks) and the igapós (flooded forest) in motorized canoes. Return to the Juma Amazon Lodge. At night, go out in a canoe ride to observe the night fauna and meet alligators, frogs and birds. Stay alert to the mysterious sounds of the forest and the starry sky

DAY 08: Amazon Jungle

Breakfast with typical fruits and regional food. Leave for a jungle hike. Once inside the Amazon Forest feel its charm and greatness. All tours are led by a lodge guide with great knowledge of the area. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon we will go out fishing and learn more about the regional species of the Amazon (piranha, peacock bass). While enjoying the sunset, return to Juma. Dinner will be complemented by the fish you caught earlier, cooked the Amazon way.

DAY 09: Amazon Jungle

Early in the morning we will leave for a sunrise excursion, witnessing the transformation of the dark water of the Juma River into a mirror and listening to the sights and sounds of the waking birds. Breakfast. Visit to the house of a local native to learn more about their fascinating culture. Lunch at the Juma Amazon Lodge. Travel on a paddle canoe, just like the locals, while contemplating the dense vegetation, the height and width of the trees, the bird’s and monkey’s sounds.

DAY 10: Amazon Jungle – Salvador

Breakfast. Return to Manaos, arrival at about 11:00am, and then transfer to the airport for your flight to Salvador. Arrival in Salvador and transfer to your hotel.

DAY 11: Salvador

Breakfast. Today we will have an historical city tour of Salvador da Bahia. The streets of Central Salvador take tourists back to the beginnings of Brazil. Our tour begins at the Barra Lighthouse. We will then pass the Teatro Castro Alves, Forte de São Pedro and Praça Castro Alves on route to the Historical Center (Pelourinho). More than a thousand homes, churches and monuments built since the 16th century help make up the greatest collection of Baroque architectural heritage in Latin America. Church entrance fees are not included. Afternoon at leisure.

DAY 12: Salvador

Breakfast. Full day at leisure to enjoy the beach and explore the heart of Afro-Brazilian culture.

DAY 13: Salvador - END OF THE TOUR

Breakfast. Check out and transfer to the airport
